Jemma Foster is a wildcrafter and practitioner of plant and vibrational medicine. As a multi-disciplinary artist, writer and filmmaker, her work explores more-than-human intelligence and interspecies communication. She actively advocates for the sovereignty and rights of plants as conscious beings.  After training with Dr Stephen LeBerge at the Lucidity Institute in Hawaii in 2018, she has collaborated with bodies such as The Monroe Institute,  The International Academy of Consciousness and The International Consciousness Research Lab in research into altered states, curating and hosting the Oneiric Soils dreaming with plants residency in Kos, Greece in 2023, an ongoing project into person-plant relationships and the liminal realms. She is the author of Sacred Geometry (2020) and Wild Alchemy Lab. An Astro-Botanical Remedy Deck (2023) and she is founder of botanical studio Mama Xanadu and esoteric publishing house and curatorial agency Wild Alchemy Lab, and co-founder of award-winning film studio Semantica. Her artworks have been commissioned by galleries and institutions and exhibited worldwide, and her work has featured in newspapers and magazines including The Times, Vogue and Forbes.
